We are looking for an AI & Data Engineer to help build a pharma and biotech intelligence platform. You will develop data pipelines, scraping workflows, and AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and knowledge graphs to turn complex information into reliable insights.

You will join a small team combining industry expertise with AI and data science to address healthcare challenges.
What You Will Do
Understanding Needs
- Translate product and business needs into practical data and AI workflows
- Identify relevant sources covering companies, financial data, clinical trials, and drug R&D
- Help define data models and technical priorities
Implementing Data Workflows
- Collect structured and unstructured data through scraping, APIs, and documents
- Build pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, enrichment, classification, and entity linking
- Use asynchronous processing, job queues, and orchestration to ensure reliable workflows
- Maintain data quality and traceability
Designing and Integrating AI Solutions
- Integrate LLMs for information extraction, classification, and enrichment
- Build RAG pipelines grounded in relevant source material
- Evaluate outputs for accuracy, relevance, and explainability
Optimizing Search and Knowledge Systems
- Structure databases and knowledge graphs connecting companies, drugs, and investors
- Improve indexing, semantic search, and retrieval using embeddings
- Strengthen entity resolution and knowledge consistency
Continuous Improvement and Support
- Maintain and improve data pipelines and AI workflows
- Monitor quality, performance, and reliability
- Explore relevant developments in NLP, LLMs, RAG, and knowledge graphs

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who shares our intellectual curiosity, team spirit, and commitment to quality.
Hard Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in data science, AI, or data engineering
- Strong Python skills and hands-on web scraping experience
- Experience building and operating data pipelines
- Understanding of asynchronous processing, job queues, and orchestration
- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases and data modeling
- Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and semantic retrieval
- Ability to evaluate data quality and AI outputs
- Professional working proficiency in English
